Who uses MatchMiner

Cancer centers and research groups that run MatchMiner or build on it.

MatchMiner is open source, so any center can run it or build on it. These are the ones we know about.

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston

Where MatchMiner is built. MatchMiner Genomics has been in clinical use since 2016, MatchMiner-AI launched for providers in February 2026, and MatchMiner Dashboard is in production across several trial teams.

Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto

Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (University Health Network) leads CTIMS, an open-source trial matching system that uses MatchMiner. CTIMS adds an editor for writing trial eligibility in CTML without editing YAML by hand, runs the MatchMiner matching engine to find patients, and shows matches in cBioPortal. It is developed by the Pugh Lab and UHN’s Cancer Digital Intelligence group, with contributions from Dana-Farber.

If your center uses MatchMiner, let us know and we’ll add you.
